Is your child too shy or too outgoing, and his/her behavior has cost him/her friendships?   Are you finding that impulsive behavior has taken the place of good decision making at school or on the playground?   Eye on My Strength is a program that lasts four or five weeks and teaches students skills and strategies to get back self-control and make positive outcome decisions.  The cost of the elementary EMS course is $250.00 per child, and the middle school class is $275.00.

Emotionally Intelligent Parenting Classes will be offered at Learn 2 Choose Inc, in Pompton Lakes.  The eight hours of parenting classes teach strategies and skills related to maintainging a positive emoitional enviornment, anger control, communication skills and stress reduction techniques.  There are three semesters of classes that can be taken, without any repetition of content.   A six hour lecture/seminar on parenting is also available.

 

Dr. Marshall also provides family life coaching as well as individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy.

Dr. Marshall is a psychiatric NP with a doctorate in Behavior Science from Columbia University. She presents lectures and workshops to schools, corporations and private foundations on resiliency, positive outcome decision-making and stress reduction.  She was a featured speaker at PMINJ on Sustainability through Emotionally Competent Leadership.  She is available for team-building initiatves and middle and upper managment development.
Dr. Marshall is a lecturer, published author and college professor. Her private practice in Pompton Lakes, NJ is dedicated to working with adults and children, developing skills for success. Dr. Marshall believes the foundation of a good life and good health rests on an individual's ability to make positive outcome choices. Dr. Marshall's unique curriculum, Eye on My Strength(EMS) has been implemented in the Gifted Child Society and multiple public schools in Bergen County, and at York College, with excellent results. Parents and teachers alike are amazed at the student's growth and development of social skills.
